Marc Triplett is best known for his long career as a criminal defense lawyer, working from his office in Bellefontaine, Ohio. This part of his practice has included the successful defense of clients charged with murder and death-penalty murder. He has undertaken the defense of more high-profile criminal cases in Logan County than any other law firm, and has made it is priority to see to it that his clients are defended aggressively and thoroughly. He has successfully defended many other types of serious felony cases, including clients charged with sex offenses, drug charges, and practically all areas of state felony defense.

Mr. Triplett’s practice has also included virtually all types of misdemeanor cases, including hundreds of DUI cases. His practice has included appeals in Ohio Courts of Appeals, the Ohio Supreme Court, trial court post-conviction, as well as appellate death penalty cases in Federal courts, including habeas corpus work in the United States District Court for the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio, the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Triplett’s advocacy continues unabated in these areas.

Marc Triplett has also practiced extensively in other areas of law, including civil litigation involving automobile accidents and personal injury, bankruptcy, and Juvenile Court.

Born and raised in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area, Marc Triplett received his B.A. from the University of Delaware and his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law. While his past 40 years have primarily been consumed with the practice of law, he has been involved in the radio and television broadcasting business for many of those years, and has had a hand in everything from on-air to management for stations in Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. His interests include American literature, and he serves as Executive Board Secretary of the Norman Mailer Society.

Mr. Triplett is pleased to be in practice now with Tina M. McFall.
